Broken Arrows
Who decides the value of an individual being?
Who makes the judgment call to determine which persons deserve to live or die?
Who has the right to take another human life?
Looking at the way our global society has trended towards self-rule and relativism, the answer to these questions is ringing loud and clear:
Apparently MANKIND is the one who decides the value of an individual being;
MANKIND determines who lives or dies;
MANKIND has the right to take another human life!
THIS IS THE WORLD WE ARE LIVING IN NOW!
It's a world that has decided that each one of us can now do as we please based on our own preferred version of the truth, and often regardless of how each of our choices affects other people in the vicinity of our individualistic bubbles.
It's a world that has decided that the life of an unborn -- but already living -- child is not valuable enough let out of the womb alive. Or if they, by some fluke of medical procedure, make it out alive, we then exercise our self-given right to decide whether to let them continue living, or terminate their life right there and then.
IS THIS THE WORLD YOU WANT?
Did you want a world that snuffed out a light before they have even been given a chance to shine bright? Is it a wonder why we are all in such state of darkness?
Did you want a world that discarded unborn humans because they became an inconvenience to our lives? Is it a wonder why we are so quick to discard each other when are inconvenienced?
Did you want a world that placed great value on endangered species of animals but lightly esteemed the most precious species on the planet -- human beings? Is it a wonder why we treat each other with such disregard for one another's dignity?
Is this the world you want?
If so, congratulations! You got it.
THIS IS THE WORLD YOU'RE LIVING IN NOW!
It is a world that has decided that putting an end to a life conceived in a woman's womb is acceptable.
It is a world that has even permitted the termination of a baby that has reached its full gestational term.
It is a world that has legalized the killing of a human life.
How did we arrive at this destination?
Do we really not see the value of a week-old embryo in the womb?
How about the value of a nine-month-old fetus?

"Behold, children are a heritage and gift from the LORD,
The fruit of the womb a reward.
Like arrows in the hand of a warrior,
So are the children of one's youth.
How blessed [happy and fortunate] is the man whose quiver is filled with them..."
Psalm 127:3-5 AMP
